RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification. Download PDF seminar report and RFID technology PPT. It is one of the fastest-growing automatic identification and data capture techniques. Radiofrequency identification (RFID) is a generic term that is used to describe a system that transmits the identity (in the form of a unique serial number) of an object or person wirelessly, using radio waves. It's grouped under the broad category of automatic identification technologies. RFID is increasingly used with biometric technologies for security. Abstract
In recent years, radio frequency identification technology has moved from obscurity into mainstream applications that help speed the handling of manufactured goods and materials. RFID enables identification from a distance, and unlike earlier bar-code technology (see the sidebar), it does so without requiring a line of sight. RFID tags support a larger set of unique IDs than bar codes and can incorporate additional data such as manufacturer, product type, and even measure environmental factors such as temperature. Furthermore, RFID systems can discern many different tags located in the same general area without human assistance. Download the PDF seminar reports and journals on RFID.
RFID Technology Seminar Reports
The PDF seminar report titled RFID Technology Principles, Advantages, Limitations & Its Applications gives an overview of the current state of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. In this seminar report, Basic Principles of RFID technology along with its types are discussed. Aside from a brief introduction to the principles of the technology, major current and envisaged fields of application, as well as advantages, and limitations of use are discussed.
A survey paper on radio frequency identification (RFID) technology trends can also help in preparing a seminar report. This paper provides a survey on radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. The paper outlines possible attacks that can violate one's privacy and it also describes countermeasures. The RFID technology did not stop at item-level tagging. The seminar report also presents current research that focuses on locating and tracking the labeled object that move. Since the uses for RFID tags are so widespread, there is a large interest in lowering the costs of producing them. It turns out that printing tags might become a viable alternative to traditional production. The paper reviews the current progress.
Another PDF paper An Introduction to RFID Technology an article in IEEE Pervasive Computing by Roy Want discusses the RFID working principles and challenges. The seminar report on RFID Technology submitted In partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Degree of Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech) in Computer Science & Engineering examines the three fields Healthcare, Games and Human Activity Detection with regard to the usage of RFID technology. The scenarios presented show that RFID technology is a technology with a promising future, even if there are still some problems and limitations that need to be solved.
